The two bedroom maisonette is a downstairs property in a block of 52 only completed July 2004, which has a large living/dining area with TV with English channels DVD player and radio/CD player. In the kitchen there is a washer, fridge-freezer, oven & hob, microwave and toaster,iron & ironing board. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, toilet, sink & bidet.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge. The property will sleep six.
There is air con/heating for winter and summer in both bedrooms and the lounge.
There is a 2 euro meter to pay for the electricity, with the average cost being 2 to 3 euros a day depending on how long the air con/heating is on.
There is a large patio at the front with the usual patio furniture, and a smaller patio at the back where there is clothes lines to dry your washing.
The apartment is in Los Palacios, Formentera Del Segura, which is on the outskirts of Rojales which is a typical Spanish town. There are a variety of shops,supermarkets, banks, restaurants, tapas bars and pubs close by. There is a very pretty church, a local museum and a lovely village square where you can sit & watch the world go by.
The river Segura runs through the centre of Rojales, this a lovely place to while away a few hours in the evening and where many of the locals spend their spare time with the family.
There is a road of very lively discos in Rojales close by, these are open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings until the early hours.
The town comes alive on Thursday mornings with the market being held beside the river in the town centre. People come from far and wide to get their fresh vegetables and the many bargains that are to be had there. The leather goods are well recommended.
Rojales is ideally situated for the major golf courses, the new one being La Finca in Algorfa. this is about ten minutes away. There are 3 other large golf courses within 25 minutes drive Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor and numerous smaller ones. Rojales itself has a very good golf course a 5 minutes drive away in Ciudad Quesada.
Rojales is about a 10 minute walk from Benimar where there are a lot of restaurants and bars frequented by the local ex pats and people on holiday.
Rojales is only about 15 minutes from Torrevieja which is a lively tourist town, if you want an energetic day or night out. There is also a water park approximately 5 minutes away in Quesada.
If you want to be livelier still Benidorm is approximately one and a half hours away.
The apartment is 11 kilometers to Guadamar a lively, but not too tourist orientated town,with lots of shops and miles of fantastic beach with a blue flag for safety & cleanliness. There is also a marina in Guadamar where all types of water sport can be enjoyed, and if you fancy some fresh air to your body there is also a large nudist beach. Guadamar is one of the preferred places that the Spanish, living inland, visit for their summer holidays.
If you want a lively holiday without having to travel then this area is not for you. If you want a taste of typical Spanish life or somewhere as a base to see the real Spain, or somewhere near numerous golf courses, then you will enjoy this apartment
