Our apartment is situated within a development called Parque Del Duque. The apartment is well equipped and furnished to a very high standard being within a 5-minute drive of the Villamartin Championship Golf course. In addition to the delights of the Villamartin golf course is Villamartin Plaza with its many bars and restaurants. There is free entertainment during the peak season with discos, Flamenco shows and horse riding displays.

Our quality two-bedroom apartment is ideal for families and couples alike and is contained within private grounds that are fully secured. The property is a leisurely stroll away from beautiful golden beaches and only a few minutes drive away from Championship golf courses (Real Club de Golf de Campoamor, Club de Golf Las Ramblas and Club de Golf Villamartin, etc). The property offers an ideal base for families or couples to explore this delightful region of Spain. Good road links make other attractions easily accessible and there are a number of local bars and restaurants close by.

The apartment has two bedrooms - one double bedroom and a further bedroom containing two single beds. 6 people can be accommodated in total.

There is also a bathroom containing WC, bidet, bath, shower, basin and a wall heater for the winter months.

The kitchen, dining area and lounge area are combined. The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, utensils, a washing machine and fridge freezer.

There is a dining area with table and four chairs and a living room that has a TV and radio cassette / CD player.

The balcony benefits from the afternoon sun and has a patio table and four chairs.

The complex swimming pool has both a small section for younger swimmers and a proper swimming area.

There is a retail complex nearby where there are banks, shops, chemist and a wide variety of restaurants, snack bars and pubs.

The beautiful blue flag beaches are about 10 minutes drive away and are well maintained and clean. The large beach is popular with the locals and beach huts provide snacks and refreshments.

This region of Spain has an average of 320 sunny days per year and excellent all year round temperatures. Together with the inexpensive flights to either Alicante or Murcia this area of Spain is fast becoming Europe’s most popular golfing and beach holiday destination. The attractive sea front is a string of secluded inlets, beaches of golden sand, well-cared for residential districts and two quiet marinas. From the north to the south a lively inlet and an open beach - both with full facilities and a well-cared for promenade - are followed by a series of small inlets with clear waters ideal for diving.

As stated above the property has excellent airport links with both Alicante and Murcia only 40 minutes drive away. A one-way taxi ride from the airport costs around 70 euros. Car hire is available locally for around 100 euros per week (including comprehensive insurance) so there really is no point in getting a taxi as a car is cheaper and gives you the flexibility to explore Spain at your leisure.

The beaches are not the only attraction the area has to offer as in addition there are three 18 hole Golf Courses (Real Club de Golf de Campoamor, Club de Golf Las Ramblas and Club de Golf Villamartin) within a radius of 3 km, all three are excellent golf courses of international prestige. There are also numerous restaurants that provide cuisine for all tastes, from traditional Spanish Tapas to the delights of Italian, French, Chinese, Indian and Mexican food. There are also many local bars, supermarkets, banks and pharmacies nearby.

Our apartment is situated within La Zenia on the Costa Blanca. La Zenia is unique as it caters for many tastes. You can enjoy a summer or winter break, a golfing or seaside break, or you may want to steep yourself in the history of the area and visit its many museums, monuments, churches and historic buildings. There are several beautiful sandy coves and blue flag beaches within a leisurely walk all of which have plenty of space for sunbathing plus play areas for the children. If you want a day off from sunbathing or golfing there are two aqua parks close by. There are also local markets to be found on most days of the week. A short drive inland takes you to traditional Spanish villages surrounded by orange and lemon groves. Whatever your taste this area has it all.

Nearby Torrevieja is a cosmopolitan Spanish town that is a 10-minute drive North of La Zenia. It is easily reached by car or the frequent local buses. Torrevieja has an esplanade, a marina and boasts plenty of shops, bars, cafes, clubs and restaurants. There is also a large market on the esplanade every Friday. On the outskirts of Torrevieja there are two large natural salt lakes renowned for their healing properties.

La Zenia is every golfers dream. There are 3 Championship courses within 10 minutes drive - Real Club de Golf de Campoamor, Club de Golf Las Ramblas and Club de Golf Villamartin that are all reasonably priced. Facilities include - club hire, caddie cart and motorised buggy hire, driving range, putting green and a pro-shop. The world famous La Manga and La Finca courses are just 50 minutes drive away by car. Within 50 minutes drive there are a total of 8 golf courses each with its own unique design and all being challenging and enjoyable to play.

La Zenia is situated about 10 minutes drive south of Torrevieja and 40 minutes south of Alicante. Alicante airport is about 40 minutes drive and Murcia airport is 30 minutes drive away. Detailed maps of La Zenia can be obtained upon request from the property owner.
