The apartment can comfortably accommodate 4 people using one of the sofa beds in the living area. It has spectacular panoramic views across the mountains, the sea and over looking the Miraflores Golf Course, in a quiet and beautifully landscaped development. The apartment is situated in a secure, safe environment with access via the stairway or lift and a personal parking space is provided in the basement car park.
We have furnished the apartment to a high standard, and have all the mod cons to make for a perfect stay including luxury Milton divan beds, satellite tv, stereo, washer/dryer, cooker, large fridge freezer, microwave etc.
There are 2 terraces, the front has a large patio table , 4 chairs and 2 loungers, and overlooks the pool area. The rear has a table and 2 patio chairs and has the most amazing view of the mountains.
The magnificent Miraflores Complex includes a social club, bowls club, beach club, 18 hole golf course with driving range, a golfing academy, tennis and a supermarket. There are at least 18 swimming pools to choose from including an Olympic sized pool. There is a choice of 3 restaurants, where you can enjoy fine food, as well as a weekly international entertainment programme. All restaurants and bars are serviced to the highest standards.
The Miraflores resort is located on the shores of the Mediterranean, in the province of Malaga, midway between the towns of Fuengirola and Marbella. Malaga airport is a 20 minute drive away.
Out and about
Although a car is not essential, one is recommended in order to fully explore and appreciate the area. A 10-15 minute drive takes you to the thriving towns of Marbella with its wonderful old town, and Puerto Banus where you can visit the designer shops, sample the nightlife or just sit and admire the fabulous boats in the marina. The white pueblo of Mijas is only 20 minutes away, Gibraltar, with its duty free shopping is just over one hours drive, and historical cities of Ronda, Seville and Granada are also popular day trips.
Close by is the picturesque port of Puerto Cabopino with its beautiful Marina, wide sandy beach, beach sports, sea fishing, and excellent restaurants and bars, where freshly caught seafood is the speciality.
Families with children are well catered for on the Costa del Sol. Besides the sandy beaches, Fuengirola (10 mins drive) is home to an Aqua park and an excellent Zoo. The Tivoli World Centre in Benalmadena is an ideal day out - with funfair rides for children of all ages, regular childrens musical entertainment, restaurants and bars, or you can take the spectacular cable car ride to the top of the mountain. The new Selwo animal, marine, and adventure parks are located in Estepona and Benalmadena, and there is dolphin watching and sea fishing off the coast.
In winter, skiing is available in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, which are just over two hours drive away, whilst water sports and sailing activities can be found in many locations along the coast.
For the bargain hunters, excellent shopping centres can be found at La Canada near Marbella and the recently opened Parque Miramar in Fuengirola. Local markets are held in Fuengirola on Tuesdays (fair ground) and Sundays (port), Benalmadena on Fridays, and Puerto Banus (bull ring) on Saturdays. Additional markets also take place in Marbella and Estepona.
