Situated on the banks of the River Ebro and surrounded by stunning scenery our apartments are ideally situated to explore this relatively unknown corner of Catalonia just 2 hours south of Barcelona and 25 minutes from beaches. Described by the Catalonia Tourist Board as a “new tourist area” the “Terres de l'Ebre” or lands of the Ebro offer a wide range of activities and sightseeing. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind away from the crowds of commercialised tourist resorts or to enjoy an outdoor activity holiday.

Les Papallonas (Catalan for "Butterflies")is located on the 2nd floor of the property. It is a spacious, two bedroom apartment and accommodates up to 7 people. There is a large family bedroom with a double and a single bed.(If required we can provide a cot and bedding, changing mat and potty free of charge).
The second bedroom has two single beds and there is a double sofa-bed in the lounge.
Next to the lounge is a spacious dining kitchen with a large pine table and chairs to seat up to 7 people.
The kitchen has ample cupboards and worktops and has a full size oven with ceramic hob and extractor fan, fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and full range of crockery and cooking utensils.
Both the lounge and dining room have patio doors leading on to the front balcony giving you a magnificent view over the river.

The River Ebro and surrounding mountains are perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities -fishing, hiking, cycling, birdwatching, canoeing. The area is rich in culture and history and there are caves, castles, medieval villages, historic cities, fantastic architecture, fiestas and local handicrafts to enjoy. The city of Tarragona which has some of the best Roman remains outside of Italy is only 45 minutes away and the vibrant city of Barcelona is only a 2 hour drive or train journey. In addition to all this the Costa Dorada is only a 25 minute drive where you can find quiet coves and pretty fishing ports. For the young at heart, the adventure theme park of Port Aventura is only 45 mins away where you can enjoy an action packed day out of white knuckle rides,shows and entertainment.
