La Herradura has many activities and places to see nearby. Some of these are below...Boats can be chartered from The Marina Del Este. Day trips can be organised around the coast with a stop at a remote beach for snorkelling and a barbecue and refreshments. There are many tennis courts where visitors can play. Two courts are available on Las Palomas. One of which is attached to our Apartments in "Los Girasoles". Another is located at The Marina Del Este. These can be booked in advance and are inexpensive. Three golf courses are within easy reach of La Herradura. These are not championship courses but are located in beautiful surroundings and are substantially cheaper than some of the more prestigious courses around Marbella. Two examples are Moriscos at Salobrena and Bavieria at Torres Del Mar. Moriscos is a links course situated just off the beach with views of the Sierra Nevada. Bavieria is a beautiful course with sea views - both have excellent faculties. The courses are a 25 minute drive from La Herradura along the N340 motorway. Clubs and buggies can be hired. La Herradura/and Marina del Este has the best diving along the coast, there are many local scuba diving centres including www.nautique.org
