Amarillo Golf is a ten minute drive away.

Shops and Restaurants - Winter Gardens is approximately 10 minutes walk from San Blas Square where there are many restaurants, a night club, a supermarket, cafes and bars, internet cafe and chemist. Closer to Winter Gardens there is a night club at Santa Barbara Golf and Ocean Club about 3 minutes walk away.

Further afield - Los Chrisianos and Playa de Las Americas are only 10 minutes drive away. Other attractions include ferry rides to Gomera Island, Jeep Safaris, Whale and Dolphin safaris and submarine and glass bottom catamarans. For the more active there is a Karting Club about 10 minutes drive away and at Playa Fanabe there is a 10 pin bowling alley.

Golf Information - Golf del Sur is the major golfing area in Tenerife and the 27 hole golf course, five minutes walk away from Winter Gardens, has been ranked highly on the PGA circuit in Europe. Guests at Winter Gardens enjoy a 20% discount on green fees and booking is recommended. Also available at the golf club is club trolley and buggy rental, driving range and pro shop and mini golf. There is also an 18 hole golf course at Amarilla close by and two further golf courses are presently under construction.
