Are you looking for a different experience? Away from the crowds, in the midst of pinetree woods, a green oasis in the south- east of Spain, where sun, silence and spectacular views join to make your holiday absolutely unique and unforgettable?
Then Villa “Los Teatinos”, with its stunning hillside views, situated in the rolling foothills of the National Park of Sierra de Carrascoy, is what you need. This very different villa, on a secluded 2000 m2 plot is set amongst pine, olive and orange trees, sheltered from neighbouring houses, making sunbathing and swimming a very private experience.

It is ideal for one very large family, but particularly two families, who can still enjoy certain independence, or even a group of friends wanting to holiday together. It comfortably sleeps 11 adults and offers two cots for children under 3 years of age.

The house was built according to the owner's very own taste, and the family lived there until only a year ago, equipping it with all the necessary luxury. Very different from the standard holiday house, it is constructed around a patio with large windows, and follows the descent of the slope where it's built on.
Due to this location, the house and garden are divided in seperate areas, each with its specific ambiance: according to the hour of the day and your personal preference, you can sunbathe on the roof or enjoy the cool shadow of huge pinetrees to read under, join the fun in the swimming pool or play with the children on the swing or still, relax on one of the terraces to chat or read. The garden and pool can be lit at night to allow midnight swimming and to enjoy the outdoors until late.

INTERIOR OF THE HOUSE

The ground floor, built around a bay window patio, follows the slope of the hill and is divided over two levels, seperated by 7 steps.
The kitchen is located on the higher level. Recently rebuilt (2005), it's a very modern luxury kitchen, fully equipped with high standard appliances: 5-head vitro ceramic stove, 90 cm oven, microwave, dishwasher, double sink and two large fridges. There will never lack space for ice-creams or fresh drinks during the hot summer days!
There is also a large table, for dining indoors.

From the kitchen, going down 7 steps, you reach the living room with log fire, comfortable sofas, TV, DVD, video and Radio-CD player.

There is also a huge roof terrace, where the washing can be hung to dry, and nights are cool.

SURROUNDINGS

The neighbourhood has a private tenniscourt (hard), at the “social club” area, whith a playground and a basketball field, at 10 mins' walk.
The immediate area is ideal for hiking, walking, climbing and mountainbiking (bring your own bicycles).
The village (3 KM) has a tennis club with gravel courts, and has all services: shops, banks, restaurants, bars, postoffice, public transport, medical services, pharmacy.
Murcia is a cosy town, with a beautiful historic centre (don't miss the gothic cathedral) and museums, plenty of terraces where you can taste delicious local tapas, but it also has modern shops and Air-conditioned shopping centres, cinemas (in spanish), a brand new, uncrowded waterpark and a zoo: 10 Km
Various golfcourts can be found in a range of less than 20 KM, and the world famous La Manga Golf court is only 40 KM away.
The nearby towns of Archena and Fortuna offer beautiful spas (25 KM), and on the Mar Menor coast (30 KM) you can indulge in healing mudbaths, or enjoy Europe's largest salt-water lagoon, with lovely beaches.
You really must visit the old seaport of Cartagena (45KM) with its beautiful restored buildings, Spain's only museum of undersea treasures, a minery museum, a Roman theatre and an ocean liner promenade and marina. In july there is a music festival “La Mar de Música” that will seduce anyone.
The coast with a choice of beaches is at less than 30 min driving.
